Run time: 80 min.

Hidden from the world for over two decades, Jookin' (aka Buckin', Choppin') is a dance style unlike any you've ever seen. Born from the streets of Memphis, it has created a culture and an underground art form known only to this city, until now. Headed by the instructors and members of the UDIG Dance Academy, the Jookin' community within Memphis has united to take their passion and expression to the world. These dancers have started a movement to gain recognition for their revolutionary style and for their city, while striving to provide a positive outlet for inner city youth. Visually enchanting dance moves, intense energetic battles, and passionate characters: MEMPHIS MOVEMENT - JOOKIN': THE URBAN BALLET is sure entertainment for dance enthusiasts and non dance fans alike.
